The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC), which operates under the Department of Public Enterprises within the Ministry of Finance, will hold investor briefing sessions across three cities before putting up land owned by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) for online auction. These meetings aim to help potential buyers understand the properties and bidding process before the sale goes live.
What is being sold and when
NLMC will auction 459 plots totalling 93,572.21 square yards. Most of these—456 plots spanning 87,949.77 square yards—are residential properties at HB Colony in Visakhapatnam. Three additional plots of 5,622.44 square yards are located at Auto Nagar, Gajuwaka, also in Visakhapatnam. Individual plot sizes range from approximately 128.94 to 2,728 square yards.
The sale will happen in two stages through the RailTel E-Nivida e-Procurement Platform. On October 12, 2026, bidding will open for 243 plots. On October 16, 2026, the remaining 216 plots will be auctioned. Interested parties must complete registration and pay an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹2 lakh per plot before the deadline. For the first session, registration closes on October 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM. For the second session, the deadline is October 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
The investor meets will take place on September 23, 2026 in Visakhapatnam, September 24, 2026 in Vijayawada, and September 25, 2026 in Hyderabad. All properties carry clear, unencumbered government titles and are being sold through a transparent, competitive process.
