Who we are
Public and Policy operates the website publicandpolicy.com. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Nothing, for simply reading. You do not need an account to use this site.
- Your email address, if you choose to subscribe to updates. We use it only to send you those updates. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Anything you send us through the contact form or by email, kept only as long as needed to deal with your message.
- Standard technical data that any web server records: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Advertising
We display advertising served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not ask for your Aadhaar number, PAN, bank details, OTP or any government credential, and you should never give those to any site that is not the official government portal.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to publicpolicymedia@gmail.com and we will act within a reasonable period.
External links
This site links heavily to government websites and other third-party sites. Once you follow a link, their privacy policy applies, not ours.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and change the date at the top.
