The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has sent a ten-journalist delegation from Telangana to Gujarat for a week-long study tour starting September 6, 2026. The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad organised the visit to help journalists understand Central Government welfare schemes, development projects and interstate best practices.
The delegation is headed by Smt. Varganti Gayathri, Media and Communication Officer at PIB Hyderabad. The journalists arrived in Ahmedabad on September 6 and will remain in Gujarat until September 12.
What the journalists will see and do
During their week in Gujarat, the media delegation will visit several major infrastructure and development sites across the state.

- Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City)
- Amul Dairy operations
- Statue of Unity monument
- Sardar Sarovar Dam
- CEPT University

- Sabarmati Multimodal Hub
The journalists will also hold meetings with officials and other stakeholders involved in these projects to gather information and insights.
