State Bank of India is recruiting two Specialist Cadre Officers on a regular basis at Middle Management Grade Scale III. The two posts are Manager for Manpower Planning and Recruitment, and Manager for Learning and Development, both sitting within the bank’s HR function and both indicatively posted at the Global IT Centre in Navi Mumbai.
This is an experienced hire rather than an entry level opening. Applicants need an MBA, PGDM or PGDBM specialising in HR, HRD or HRM from a recognised institution, plus a minimum of six years of post-qualification experience in human resources. Experience in the IT industry or in an IT department within the banking, financial services and insurance sector is preferred, as are HR Analytics, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications. The age band is 28 to 40 years as on 31 July 2026.
There is no written test. Candidates are shortlisted on their applications and then called for interview.
