Indian Railways has given approval for constructing a four-lane Road Over Bridge at Alkapuri in Vadodara Division of Western Railway. Why the new bridge is needed
Vadodara city has an existing Road Under Bridge at Alkapuri that connects the Alkapuri and Kalaghoda areas. This bridge provides east-west road connectivity near the Vadodara Railway Station, but it has become a major traffic bottleneck.
