PMSSS gives J&K and Ladakh students admitted to degree courses outside their home union territory up to Rs 30,000 tuition reimbursement and Rs 1 lakh annual maintenance allowance. Apply through the AICTE PMSSS counselling portal.
Students domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh get a scholarship to pursue undergraduate professional and general degree courses in institutions outside their home union territory, aimed at widening access to quality higher education and national integration.
Admission is through a separate counselling process (AICTE conducts admissions for professional courses) followed by scholarship disbursement covering tuition and maintenance costs.
Domicile/permanent resident certificate, Class XII marksheet, admission letter through PMSSS counselling, Aadhaar card, bank account details.
Permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh who have passed Class XII and secured admission through PMSSS counselling.
Tuition fee reimbursement up to Rs 30,000 and a maintenance allowance of up to Rs 1 lakh per annum.
Through the dedicated AICTE-conducted counselling process at aicte-pmsss.gov.in.
