PMS-ST provides ST students from Class XI to PhD level a monthly maintenance allowance plus tuition fee reimbursement, for family income up to Rs 2.5 lakh. Apply through the National Scholarship Portal each academic year.
ST students pursuing studies from Class XI up to PhD, including professional and technical courses, receive maintenance allowance and reimbursement of course/tuition fees under this central scholarship, aimed at supporting higher education completion and reducing dropout.
The scheme runs largely on the National Scholarship Portal with income-linked eligibility, and top priority courses (medical, engineering, law) get enhanced fee reimbursement limits.
Tribal certificate, income certificate, admission/fee receipt, previous marksheet, Aadhaar card, bank account details.
Class XI/XII, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, professional and doctoral courses at recognised institutions.
Family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
Directly to the student's bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer after institute verification on the National Scholarship Portal.
