The Ministry of Law and Justice has announced the appointment of three judicial officers to the Himachal Pradesh High Court. The President, acting on consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has approved these appointments under the powers granted by the Indian Constitution.
Who has been appointed
Three judicial officers have been selected for elevation:
- Shri Chirag Bhanu has been appointed as a Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court
- Shri Bhupesh Sharma has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court
- Shri Yogesh Jaswal has been appointed as an Additional Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court
These appointments follow the constitutional procedure that requires consultation with the Chief Justice of India before the President makes such judicial appointments.
