MY Bharat operates as a digital portal (mybharat.gov.in) designed to channel the energy and ideas of young Indians towards nation-building and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, a framework for developed India by the year 2047. The 30 million milestone marks significant expansion from 20 million registrations in October 2025 and 24.6 million in August 2026.

What MY Bharat offers
The platform functions as a single gateway connecting young Indians to multiple opportunities. Users can enrol in Experiential Learning Programmes that provide practical, hands-on learning outside traditional classroom settings. The platform also hosts volunteering opportunities, quizzes, youth dialogues, leadership initiatives and community engagement activities. An AI-enabled CV Builder feature helps young people create professional profiles to support their career development.
Major initiatives under MY Bharat
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 is a flagship initiative designed to identify and nurture youth talent across multiple domains. Young people can participate through the Viksit Bharat Quiz (open until 30 September 2026), which feeds into the Viksit Bharat Challenge. Participants who progress through the Essay Challenge, District Championships and State/Union Territory-level competitions will have the opportunity to participate in the National Dialogue in New Delhi from 10-12 January 2027.
Beyond the main challenge, VBYLD 2027 includes five additional tracks. The Cultural Track celebrates artistic and cultural talent. Design for Bharat focuses on creative and design thinking solutions. Hack for Social Cause invites technology-driven solutions to social problems. The Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge supports young business ideas. Youth Parliament allows young people to engage with parliamentary processes and governance. Selected participants across these tracks gain the opportunity to present their ideas to senior policymakers and the Prime Minister.
Other initiatives within the MY Bharat ecosystem include the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat campaign (a drug-free India initiative), the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme, the Youth Parliament, Viksit Bharat Padyatra, Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect and Khelo India Dialogue. The 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan commenced in September 2026 and mobilises young people through pledge-taking, signature campaigns, creative activities and discussions across the country.
