The Rest of Karnataka notification covers 15 posts of Assistant Controller in Group A, on Rs 83,700 to Rs 1,55,200, and 53 posts of Audit Officer in Group B, on Rs 69,250 to Rs 1,34,200. A separate Kalyana Karnataka notification covers 2 more Audit Officer posts on the same Group B scale. These are audit and accounts jobs in the state government, not clerical work.
Who can apply
You need an M.Com, or an MBA in Finance, Financial Management or Financial Analysis, or another Master’s degree notified by the University Grants Commission with Finance as a subject. Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or associate membership of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, also qualifies. The minimum age is 21. The upper limit is 35 for General Merit, 38 for Categories 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, and 40 for SC, ST and Category 1.
Selection and key dates
