India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal and Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Anton Alikhanov visited the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC) pavilion at INNOPROM India 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The visit took place on the second day of the exhibition as part of their bilateral engagement. The interaction aimed to explore manufacturing partnerships and industrial cooperation between the two nations.

The Ministers were briefed on how these initiatives strengthen India’s industrial and manufacturing ecosystem. The pavilion also attracted strong participation from domestic and international delegates, including industry representatives, investors, technology companies and business delegations from Russia and other BRICS nations.
During the exhibition, NICDC held multiple business-to-business meetings with Russian counterparts, BRICS delegates, and prospective investors. Discussions centred on potential manufacturing partnerships, technology collaboration, supply-chain integration and opportunities in India’s emerging Industrial Smart Cities. Sectors of interest included advanced engineering, machinery, transport systems, automobiles, metals, energy, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
Visitors showed particular interest in industrial locations, infrastructure readiness, connectivity options, land availability and prospects for establishing manufacturing operations within India. NICDC highlighted how its Industrial Smart Cities offer serviced industrial land, quality infrastructure, multimodal connectivity and investor facilitation to companies looking to set up or expand operations.
