What the posts are
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission is recruiting Assistant Professors for government colleges in the state. Two subject advertisements are covered by the current application window, number 26/2025 for Zoology and number 28/2025 for Computer Science, both originally issued on 30 December 2025. The Commission reopened and then extended the online application window through a corrigendum dated 7 September 2026, which also revised the examination date.
Who can apply
These are teaching posts in the Madhya Pradesh higher education service, so applicants need a post graduate qualification in the subject they are applying for, Zoology or Computer Science, together with the eligibility conditions set out in the parent advertisement. Applications are filed through MPOnline and the Commission portal, and each subject has its own separate advertisement, so you apply against the subject you are qualified in.
Selection and key dates
Selection is by written examination. The online application window runs from 2 September 2026 to 1 October 2026. The written examination is fixed for 29 November 2026 and admit cards are due from 19 November 2026. A correction window follows the closing date, running into early November 2026.
