SSC Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2026

Online applications close on 30 September 2026 at 23:00 hours, and online fee payment is accepted until 1 October 2026 at 23:00 hours. The window for application form correction runs from 8 October to 10 October 2026 up to 23:00 hours.

The notice lists 1,871 tentative vacancies in total. That is 205 Sub-Inspector (Executive) Male and 112 Female posts in Delhi Police, 1,320 Sub-Inspector (GD) posts across CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF and SSB, and 234 Sub-Inspector (Fire) posts in CISF.

For all posts except Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF the age limit is 20 to 25 years as on 1 August 2026. For Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF it is 18 to 30 years. Category relaxations apply as per government orders.

The examination consists of Paper-I, a computer based test, followed by the Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test, then Paper-II, and finally a Detailed Medical Examination. Candidates must clear each stage to move to the next one.
