What this recruitment is
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has advertised 501 posts of Review Officer (Samiksha Adhikari) and Assistant Review Officer (Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari) under advertisement A-4/E-1/2026. The largest group is 261 ARO posts in the UP Secretariat. These are sought-after desk jobs in the state secretariat, the Public Service Commission and other offices.
Who can apply
A bachelor’s degree is the basic requirement. ARO posts also need an O Level certificate or computer diploma and Hindi typing at 25 words per minute, and accounts posts need B.Com with Accountancy or a CA or ICWA qualification. Age must be 21 to 40 years as on 1 July 2026, with relaxations for reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh.
Exam and dates
Selection has a 200-mark qualifying preliminary exam with negative marking of one third, a mains exam of 800 marks that decides merit, and a typing test for some posts. One Time Registration on otr.pariksha.nic.in must be completed first. Applications run from 26 October to 26 November 2026, and corrections are allowed until 3 December 2026.
