What happened
The aircraft was engaged in a training flight within Kanpur Civil Airport’s designated Local Flying Area when the accident occurred in the afternoon. Two people were aboard: a trainee pilot and an instructor. Both occupants died in the crash.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) deployed a three-member team to the accident site to carry out regulatory monitoring and liaison work.
