According to the Home Minister, the Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital provided free medical care to 3.60 lakh people in the year before the inauguration. The value of this free care was estimated at ₹244 crore. The new building is intended to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to continue and increase this service to more residents of Delhi.
