Shewani Kumari received financial assistance through the National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education and Research (NFSDC Fellowship for Higher Education and Research). During her doctoral studies, she received Rs. 31,000 per month as a Junior Research Fellow and Rs. 35,000 per month as a Senior Research Fellow. These monthly amounts helped her cover tuition fees, purchase books and research materials, arrange for travel related to fieldwork, and manage other academic expenses.
Coming from a family with limited means, Shewani faced multiple obstacles before accessing this support.
